Tiers are reviewed annually in March. The effective date of the tiers below is April 1, 2024 - March 31, 2025.
Tier 1: Colleges with predominantly two-year programs
Tier 1A: Two-year Colleges, up to 2,000 FTE (ConsortiaManager Tier 1)
Tier 1B: Two-year Colleges, 2,001 to 4,000 FTE (ConsortiaManager Tier 2)
Tier 1C: Two-year Colleges, 4,001+ FTE (ConsortiaManager Tier 3)
Tiers 2-5: Universities and institutes with four-year programs
Tier 2: Teaching Universities and Technical Institutions (ConsortiaManager Tier 4)
Tier 3A: Small universities, up to 1,000 FTE (ConsortiaManager Tier 5)
Tier 3B: Small universities, 1,001 to 5,000 FTE (ConsortiaManager Tier 6)
Tier 3C: Small universities, 5,001 to 15,000 FTE (ConsortiaManager Tier 7)
Tier 4: Medium universities, 15,001 to 30,000 FTE (ConsortiaManager Tier 8)
Tier 5: Large universities, 30,001+ FTE (ConsortiaManager Tier 9)
