Legislative Library MARC Records

The Provider Neutral Record Standard (PDF) for the was created by the  (51ºÚÁÏÍøCATS) community, specifically the University of Victoria, University of Northern British Columbia, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, University of British Columbia, and Simon Fraser University.

The University of Victoria modifies the original  into Provider Neutral electronic resource records and these files are shared on the 51ºÚÁÏÍø ELN website. For additional background on this project, see Nancy Stuart's article (51ºÚÁÏÍøLA Browser: Linking the Library Landscape, 3.1, 2011).

In September 2014, it was reported that some modified records contained errors in the 300 field as well as a few 856 field errors. The affected records, mostly from 2014 but some as far back as 2009, have been fixed and re-uploaded below. These records are in MARC21 MARC-8 format.

Monthly records are now available for previous years only by request. If you experience any issues with the Provider Neutral records, please contact cats@uvic.ca or Illume Support at 51ºÚÁÏÍø ELN.
